Morgantown is a college town on the banks of the Monogahela River in the northern part of mountainous West Virginia and a picturesque location for a Fall meeting. The Waterfront Place Hotel and Convention Center is located less than a mile from the Department of Physics and Astronomy at West Virginia University. The two locations are connected by a walkable rail-trail that provides easy access to the downtown and High Street, where many restaurants are situated.
