Travel Grants

Note: Please return all your original receipts for travel reimbursement at the registration desk on Saturday, in between 4:00 - 5:00 PM. 

APPLICATION DEADLINE : September 30, 2015

Limited travel grants are available to support undergraduate and graduate students to attend the meeting.  To apply for the student travel grant please fill out the attached form and email it along with the documents listed below to Sobhit Singh (smsingh@mix.wvu.edu) by  September 30, 2015 with the subject line “MAS APS: Student travel support”. 

Documents to be attached in email:

  1. Meeting registration receipt 
  2. Submitted abstract (if presenting) 

Note: There is no guarantee that full travel expenses will be covered. Depending upon the number of applicants, partial travel support could be provided. 

Save all the original receipts to apply for the travel reimbursement. If you use a personal car, please submit a Google map showing the miles travelled. Please coordinate with other attendees from your institution in the transportation. We encourage carpooling to the travel grant applicants. If you are flying, you must obtain pre-approval prior to booking your tickets. You will be contacted with instructions for airplane ticket purchase. 

All student travel grant applicants will receive an email containing instructions about the location and timing to submit all their original receipts required for the travel reimbursement. Applicants who submit all the original receipts will only be considered for the travel reimbursement.
